Changing/Updating Password & Email

In the following article we will show you which user data you can change and how it can be changed.

You can change your password in your Thinkproject account (overview page after logging in). To do this, please click on the Person next to your name at the top right and click on the User profile field in the drop-down menu.


You will then come to this page and see your profile overview. 



A change can only be made here by our support.


To change your email address, select the Password & Security section and go to the Email tab.


Your e-mail address will now appear in an input field. You can change your address there. Confirm the entry by clicking on the Save button.

After changing your email address, you will receive another confirmation email in which you must verify the new email address for your account.


The changed email address must also be changed in your project rooms. There is no automatic synchronization here.

To change your password, click Password & Security.


In the Password tab, you will be prompted to enter your current password and to set a new password. Please note our password policy when choosing your password. Complete the action with the save button at the bottom right.


You have now successfully changed your password.

Some of the functions shown may differ slightly depending on the release version of your project room.
