Communications dealt with on time chart (CDWOT)

The purpose of this article is to explore the Communications dealt with on time chart within CEMAR Analytics and provide further context to the information shown.

Note: The data for the chart is derived from the contracts selected in your Select Contracts page which can be accessed via the cogs icon in the top left-hand corner of the screen. For more information on this page see our help article here.
Accessing the Communications dealt with on time chart

In order to access the chart, first navigate to the left-hand expandable menu, then select Charts, followed by Communications / Behaviours:

From here, click on the graph highlighted below to open the chart:

Key facts about this chart
  • Communications are counted within the month in which the response is due
  • The chart will not include any communications requiring a response that are still within the given response period.
  • Once an event is late, it is always counted as late, extensions coming in after the due date will not change this
  • If an extension is granted within the normal response period, this does not count as a response on time. It simply pushes the response due date, where it may or may not be replied to on time once more
Filtering the results

Various filters can be applied to the chart, by using the range of options present on the left-hand side of the page.

For example, you can filter the chart by event type, thus ensuring the results returned are relevant.

Other options include; setting a custom date range, only reporting on a certain Party, or a specific contract type.

Exporting the data

This chart has a unique Excel exported data set, which can be accessed by selecting Export Data

Extracted from the system, this version breaks down the data shown into more specific metrics, clearly identifying how many of each event type are either on/out of time. 

The Excel report is split into 3 different tabs, each one showing varying levels of detail.
 - Contracts Summary
 - Communications Summary
 - Communications Detail 

Contracts Summary - this shows all contracts selected, illustrating how many events have been submitted on/out of time.  A percentile breakdown is also included.

Communications Summary - this shows a breakdown of all on/out of time communications for each event type for the contracts selected.

Communications Detail - this highlights all events from each group, showing those out/on time and giving further context to their states; including submission date, response date and any extensions given.
