Copy or Move a Document

The purpose of this article is to explain how to copy or move a Document.

It is possible to move a document from one folder to another either to move the file placed in error or to move to a folder with different project characteristics:

  1. Go to Documents
  2. Select the folder containing the document you want to copy or move
  3. Drag the document from the original folder to the target folder

  4. Depending on the folder settings, possible actions are:
    • Move - it moves the document from the original folder to the target folder
    • Move and change - it moves the documents from the original folder to the target folder and changes the workflow route according to the property of the target folder
    • Copy - it copies the document from the original folder to the target folder
    • Copy and change - it copies the documents from the original folder to the target folder and changes the workflow route according to the property of the target folder

Note

If an identical document exists, a new copy index is proposed
