Workflows can only be started with a file that has already been uploaded to the system. Once the file has been uploaded, there are two ways to start a workflow:
1) in the "Files"-Module
2) in the Workflow-Module
In the module files, locate the file you would like to start a workflow with and then select the file by checking the box in front of the filename.
Next, select "Start Workflow" from the drop-down menu at the bottom of the page and click «Execute».
On the next page select the name of the workflow to start from the drop-down menu at the top of the page.
Only workflows to which you have access rights will be shown in the menu.
Click «Start» at the bottom of the page to start the selected workflow!
In the Workflow-Module click the button to open the page "Start Workflow"
On the page "Start workflow" select the name of the Workflow to start from the drop-down menu at the top of the page.
All workflows to which you have access rights to will be listed in the menu.
Next, select the file to attach to the workflow by clicking either:
- Add existing file - if the file has already been uploaded to the system
- Upload new file - to upload a new file to the system and attach
Once a file is attached, click «Start» at the bottom of the page to start the workflow!
