Reset MFA

If you have lost access to your authenticator or want to set up a different MFA device, you will need to reset your MFA token. This article will explain how you can do this.

In order to reset your MFA device yourself you will need to be able to gain access to your account, if you are unable to do so then please raise a support request to get this reset for you.

Navigate to manage account by selecting the circle in the top right with your initials and selecting Manage Account:

Select Password and Security from the left-hand side menu:

Then select ResetMFA:

You will be asked to confirm that you do wish to reset your MFA. Select Continue:

You will be prompted to enter your password for security purposes. Once done, select Continue:

You will then be logged out of Thinkproject CLOUD and you will need to sign back in using your current credentials:

On login, you will be taken through the steps to set up MFA.

Make sure you have an authenticator app ready. We recommend Google Authenticator, but most authenticator apps will work:

With your authenticator app scan the QR code. Once your app has accepted the QR code, select Continue:

You will then be presented with a 6-digit code. Enter this code and select Continue:

You will then receive a backup code. You need to keep this somewhere safe in case you need to recover your MFA. Copy the code or save the PDF, tick the check box and then select Continue:

You have now setup your MFA and can select Finish:
